Project Titan is now open: a private server for WoW Forever. It is a community project based on the new WoW Forever development branch, using a modern client with major graphics and quality-of-life improvements. It is completely free: there is no subscription, and you do not pay for new content, progression within the game, mounts or transmogrifications.
To start playing, all the information is on the How to play page. As for long-term safety, Project Titan protects account and character information with decentralized redundancy: it is kept in distributed, independent and anonymous backups. If the main server or its database suffers a technical or legal problem, the other backups have what is needed to restore the community and resume operations within hours. Creating a character on a private server is an act of trust, and we are grateful to every player who entrusts their time to Project Titan. To keep that trust, we have designed this model.
Project Titan is in an early stage of development, so bugs may appear. Player bug reports are very valuable and are taken into account to improve the project; you can send them through the bug tracker, through the in-game support page, or on our Discord. Even at this stage, our goal is to keep up with the latest official content patch.
Community suggestions count too. We are considering implementing certain features if players request them strongly, and they will be decided in votes among the player base that we will hold soon.
