We believe progressive level caps offer a fantastic experience for everyone. Casual players can level at their own comfortable pace, while hardcore players can move on to other activities once they reach the level cap of the current phase: farming gold, leveling professions and alts, getting the Best in Slot gear for that level, or farming honor in battlegrounds and open world PvP.
Phase durations are driven by the community and by data. The level cap of each phase is:
- Phase 1: Level 20
- Phase 2: Level 30
- Phase 3: Level 40
- Phase 4: Level 50
- Phase 5: Level 60
- Phase 6: Maximum level, which unlocks endgame content such as Raids and World Bosses.
